Ragù sauce is the most commonly used relish for pasta in Italy . We have in Italy different types of Ragù, the most
famous are Bolognese Ragù or Neapolitan
Ragù. Here I prepared a ragù with minced meat of veal, tomato puree and
minced onion, carrot and celery. I like this ragù because it's easy and fast to
prepare, you don't need a lot of ingredients and usually they are ingredients
that I always have at home so If I'm in hurry and I don't know what to prepare
for dinner this ragù is the ideal one and it is always very delicious.
INGREDIENTS (for 4-6 people):
250 g of minced meat of veal
750 ml of tomato sauce
1 carrot
1 onion
1 celery
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
PREPARATION TIME: 20 minutes
COOKING TIME: 1 hour
PREPARATION
Mince the carrot, the onion and the celery. Preheat the extra virgin
olive oil in a soup pot, add the minced vegetables and let them cook for 5
minutes.
Then add the minced meat of veal and let it sauté for a few
minutes.
Now add the tomato sauce and stir, continue to cook the ragù for 30-40
minutes stirring time by time.
Let the tomato puree reduce a little bit. Use
this type of ragù fo any kind of pasta.
BUON APPETITO!
